Longines Flagship Lady Automatic 26 mm

The story

It was in 1957 that Longines launched its Flagship collection: one of the very first lines christened by the Saint-Imier-based company. A flagship, the "flagship" flew the flag of the fleet's commander-in-chief. It was under this resolutely conquering name that the collection would become one of the flagships of the winged hourglass brand from the late 1950s.

Today, this timeless collection is still part of its range in a reworked form. All equipped with automatic calibers, these models delight lovers of classic, robust watches. A wide range of dials and the various sizes on offer mean that everyone can find the watch that suits them.

In detail

This 26mm-diameter model is the perfect example to showcase this range. It features all the classic watchmaking details, with a superb silver-white dial, topped by yellow gold PVD steel hands and 12 Top Wesselton VS-SI diamonds, totaling 0.034 carats. A date window is present at 3 o'clock. The whole is protected by a sapphire crystal and the set is dressed in a 5-link steel and gold-plated bracelet.

Through the sapphire caseback, we find the L592 automatic caliber to power this Flagship Lady. This movement offers 45 hours of power reserve.
