The Farah ring in white gold, zircon, diamonds and topaz
With its ball ring look, this creation is part of the line of exceptional pieces we began last year, to mark the centenary of Maison Lepage. The ring is paved with 202 diamonds and topazes, making it one of the most important pieces of jewellery in terms of the number of stones in our collections, and enhancing the magnificent zircon at its centre. Fashioned in palladium-plated white gold, the setting highlights the intense colour of the jewel it supports, bringing to life a plush, elegant ring worthy of the most special occasions...
For the record
Not to be confused with zirconium oxide, a synthetic stone of little value, zircon is a natural stone, whose appearance and luminous performance closely resemble those of diamonds. Named after the illustrious Farah Diba, former queen and empress of Iran, who left her mark on her era through her altruism, generosity and benevolence, our exceptional piece is the embodiment of the values conveyed by this exceptional woman. Highly committed to the development of her country, she also worked for the emancipation of women, as well as the development of access to education, art, culture and sport. Farah Diba is a strong and indisputable figure among women state leaders who have devoted themselves body and soul to improving the living conditions of her people.
Jewellers' words
Existing in many colours, zircon is a very rare and sought-after natural stone, touted as the oldest fine and precious stone on Earth. Indeed, with the oldest zircons found dating back over 4.4 billion years! The magnificent gem that adorns the Farah ring is therefore a real piece of history, reinforcing the impressive aura it exudes with its beauty. Absolutely remarkable, it has an intense blue colour, enhanced by the cushion shape it has been given. With its rounded edges and clean lines, this zircon strikes a subtle balance between softness and strength. Supported by a ball setting paved with diamonds and topaz, its volume and brilliance are enhanced, to our delight. One thing's for sure: once you've been enchanted by Farah, you won't be able to take your eyes off it!
