Launched in 2018 by French watchmaker HERBELIN, the Cap Camarat collection welcomes a new model for men, distinctive for its square shape. Punctuated with a zest of modernity while retaining a neo-vintage spirit, this urban watch displays a casual-chic allure in all circumstances.

A question of form

Revisiting a 1970s piece from HERBELIN's watchmaking heritage, this Cap Camarat model accentuates its vintage character with its case (39 mm x 39 mm). Made of stainless steel, its square shape with rounded corners is highlighted by a vertical brushed finish with polished facets. Asserting a most geometric robustness, reinforced by the crown protection, it draws the eye to the bezel whose six decorative screws are subtly placed in the extension of the indexes.

Protected by a sapphire crystal, the horizontally-struck gradient blue dial makes the most of the beveled hour markers. Identical in finish, the faceted rectangular hour and minute hands are coated with luminescent material to perfect the legibility of the time. Enhanced by a discreet date aperture at 6 o'clock and a minute track on the perimeter flange, the whole gives a precise reading of time information.

Integrated with the case, the bracelet also respects the watchmaking codes of the period. Signature of the French brand through its four links with a polished and brushed finish, it features a double-unfolding buckle clasp.

Water-resistant to 100 meters, the Cap Camarat embeds a Swiss-made quartz movement (Ronda), a guarantee of quality and reliability.

Offering the assurance of high technical standards, it inherits French watchmaking know-how, handed down from father to son for 75 years. Made in France, this watch has been designed, conceived, hand-assembled, regulated and controlled in the workshops of the HERBELIN company, located in the Jura mountains of Franche-Comté.
