The Baumatic calibre represents a turning point for Baume et Mercier, as for the first time Baume is offering a movement equipped with a silicon balance spring and a high-performance escapement. Comprising a 40 mm polished and satin-finished steel and pink gold case mounted on a brown alligator leather strap, this watch with its beautiful deep chocolate dial has the distinctive feature of being chronometer-certified by the COSC, which explains its slightly higher price than the other models in the range.
