The Aqua Terra 150M, 41 mm in diameter, is adorned with a Summer teak dial to pay tribute to the 75th anniversary of the Seamaster collection!
Aqua Terra: Elegance down to the depths
Launched in 2002, the Seamaster Aqua Terra was designed to be the benchmark for sporty, elegant watches. It offers a perfect balance between sophistication and seafaring spirit, and its sleek design recalls the sober lines of the original 1957 Seamaster 300. With its 150-meter water resistance, it's the ideal watch to wear between land and sea. This model is constantly evolving. Over the years, OMEGA has added ocean-inspired details: a dial with a "teak" pattern evoking the deck of a yacht or hour markers in the shape of a ship's hull.
Today, the brand presents a special series to celebrate 75 years of the Seamaster collection: seven iconic models, ranging from the most elegant to the most technically sophisticated diving watches. What do they have in common? OMEGA Summer Blue, used in varying degrees of intensity to reflect the water-resistance level of each Seamaster and make it identifiable at first glance.
Fittingly, this Aqua Terra is from this series and recalls the color of sunny surface waters!
A symmetrical design
Equipped with a symmetrical polished and satin-finished stainless steel case, this 41 mm Aqua Terra is mounted on a matching steel bracelet.
The dial with a "teak" motif in OMEGA's exclusive summer blue is sunrayed, PVD-coated and varnished with a gradient finish that reflects the watch's water-resistance level. It features rhodium-plated hands and indexes coated with light-blue Super-Luminova, as well as a matching blue date window at 6 o'clock. The whole is protected by a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides.
A commemorative caseback
To mark the 75th anniversary of the Seamaster collection, the back of the watch features a stamped version of the commemorative Seamaster logo depicting Poseidon with a trident and two seahorses: the original OMEGA logo from 1956 and the House's current design. The logo was designed by Jean-Pierre Borle, who was inspired by a trip to Venice and the carved representations of Neptune's seahorse found at either end of the city's iconic gondolas.
This symbol reflects the collection's maritime heritage, refined style and robust spirit.
A high-performance Master Chronometer-certified caliber
This Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra is powered by an Omega 8900 manufacture self-winding movement. Equipped with a Co-Axial escapement, it boasts great performance while offering a balanced watch for everyday use. Indeed, the movement and watch have been tested in accordance with the METAS-approved Master Chronometer certification procedure, guaranteeing the watch's precision between 0 and +5 seconds per day. The caliber is resistant to magnetic fields of up to 15,000 gauss, so you don't have to worry about the electronic equipment that surrounds us every day. The racketless balance wheel with silicon balance spring beats at a frequency of 25,200 vibrations, a standard frequency providing 60 hours of power reserve.
