The story

The Premier Heritage collection pays tribute to Breitling's founding Squad: three generations of men who made Breitling what it is today. Léon Breitling founded the company in 1884; later he patented a simple countdown/tachometer capable of measuring any speed between 15 and 150 km/h, an invention that became part of the Vitesse pocket watch in 1906.

In 1915, his son Gaston created one of the first wrist chronographs with an independent push-button at two o'clock. This innovation separated the stop, start and reset functions from the crown, making the watch more practical for timing sports.

In 1934, Léon's grandson Willy patented the second independent chronograph counter at 4 o'clock. Among Willy Breitling's famous pioneering achievements was the founding of the Huit Aviation department in 1938.

The latest generation of Premier - the Breitling Premier Heritage collection - brings timeless elegance back to the fore. The collection includes six watches divided into three distinct categories: the Chronograph, the Duograph and the Datora!

With its 42 mm-diameter stainless steel case, the Premier Heritage Duograph features a blue sunray dial! This model features Arabic numerals, vintage-inspired hands and a semi-gloss alligator leather strap with tone-on-tone stitching. A successful neo-retro-inspired model!

An exceptional caliber!

This piece houses the Breitling B15 hand-wound mechanical Manufacture Caliber, based on the Breitling B03 Manufacture Caliber. This COSC-certified chronometer movement is a masterpiece of watchmaking engineering!

One of the remarkable features of Calibre B15 is the split-seconds function, also known as "split-seconds" or "double chronograph". This function allows two separate time intervals to be measured simultaneously. Usually, ordinary chronographs have a single chronograph hand to measure elapsed time, but with a split-seconds function, the caliber B15 is equipped with an additional second chronograph hand. This hand can be stopped independently of the first hand, enabling two different time periods to be measured. It also enables intermediate times to be measured without having to reset the main chronograph.
