Since its launch, it has established itself in record time as one of the brand's best-selling timepieces. Dedicated to the art of travel and world exploration, they perfectly illustrate the brand's international history, from the Netherlands to Switzerland, via Hong Kong. A design all in black

Frederique Constant has opted for an all-black design. Featuring a 42 mm-diameter case coated in sandblasted PVD titanium, the Classics Worldtimer Manufacture Globetrotter Edition features a black dial depicting the planisphere in relief, with the oceans illuminated by a sunray finish. At 6 o'clock, an elegant guilloché sundial displays the date thanks to a hand-polished black hand, also matching the hour, minute and seconds hands.

Technical side

The "Worldtimer" complication is very useful! Intended for exploration and travel, it instantly reads the exact time in the 24 cities that represent the 24 reference time zones! It also lets you know whether a time zone is currently in night or day.

Usually, this complication is quite complicated to set and quite expensive, but Maison Frédérique Constant has managed to find a solution to make it easier to use. Indeed, the brand has been able for over 15 years to design and assemble its own movements in-house, within its Geneva manufacture, enabling it to innovate and offer complications at affordable prices.

Thus, this watch embarks the Manufacture FC-718 automatic caliber, endowed with 38 hours of power reserve. Proven reliable, it is also an example of simplicity: all its indications are set with the crown alone, thanks to an ingenious three-notch system. At the first, it winds the watch. The second sets the date and the reference city. The third adjusts the central time display. Simple and intuitive, this design lets you cross time zones driven solely by the desire to discover the world, without having to worry about the time being read: local time (via central hands) and domestic time (via the mobile rehaut) are automatically synchronized with each other.

In addition to being highly technical, this exceptional caliber is visible through the transparent caseback. It is embellished by delicate circular graining and Côtes de Genève decoration, above which turns its satin-finished oscillating weight with drawn lines.
