The Tissot Alpine On Board Automatic captivates as much by its racy looks as by its unique concept. The emphasis is on practicality of use: the case is easily detached from its strap to come to rest on a specific aluminum frame-support that attaches to the car's multimedia screen, thus guaranteeing optimal reading of the time while driving.

As for design, this imposing 45 mm diameter bicompax-date chrono sports pushers similar to the valves of an engine. Its gray dial is subtly reminiscent of the counters on the famous Berlinette at the time. This dial is finely grained like the asphalt of the circuits, highlights the two black counters (small seconds and minutes of the chrono) and the tachometric scale on the flange. The orange indexes, the date window ring and the central seconds hand (with its counterweight in the shape of the Alpine logo) recall the color of the brake calipers of the French sports car in its "S" version. A bright color that is also found on the two piston-shaped chrono pushers and the perforated black leather "racing" strap.

Under the hood is a simple and reliable automatic chronograph movement based on the Valjoux 7750 architecture. Operating at 4 Hz, this integrated chronograph has a power reserve of 60 hours.
