Since its inception, Frederique Constant has drawn on the expertise of its Geneva-based manufacture. It is there, in the cradle of watchmaking, that the House's FC-718 Worldtimer caliber was designed, produced and assembled. Today, it is a movement of its time: modern, precise and reliable, but also tried and tested. Its prominence in the Highlife collection is a first and represents a major turning point for the Maison.

A simple, precise and intuitive caliber

The FC-718 self-winding in-house movement has a power reserve of 38 hours. It is visible through the case back, which is water-resistant to 50 meters. One can admire the typical Geneva finishing that Frederique Constant is so fond of, including circular graining and côtes de Genève.

An anniversary edition

This Highlife Worldtimer Manufacture declination is an anniversary edition par excellence, consisting of only 35 watches made of 18-karat rose gold. The highly contemporary, multi-faceted case highlights the shimmer of the precious metal; the Manufacture has further accentuated the resulting play of light by offsetting the brushed case with a polished bezel and crown.

For this edition, Frederique Constant chose a petroleum blue dial, a hue soft enough to reveal the nuances engraved on its surface: the Earth symbol, complemented by lines of latitude and longitude, and a sun at 6 o'clock on the date disc. The dial features gold-colored luminous applique hour markers to match the three central hands indicating hours, minutes and seconds.
