An inspiration drawn from vintage military watches

Seiko is inspired by its old creations for this new "field watch": remember the SNK807, with which many enthusiasts started watchmaking! This "In the Metal" has reasonable dimensions, with its 36.4 mm diameter and 12.5 mm thickness. Its steel case is fully brushed for a "toolwatch" look and offers water resistance to 100 meters deep.

The military inspiration displayed by this Seiko 5 Sports Midfield comes first and foremost from its black dial: matte grained texture, large Arabic numeral markers lined with a military-style 24-hour scale, triangular markers at 12 o'clock, large luminescent hands, square luminescent studs in the extension of the hour markers...
