Its steel case is entirely microbeaded for a "toolwatch" look and offers water resistance to a depth of 100 meters.

The military inspiration displayed by this Seiko 5 Sports Midfield comes first and foremost from its black dial: matte grained texture, large Arabic numeral markers lined with a military-style 24-hour scale, triangular markers at 12 o'clock, large luminescent hands, square luminescent dots in the extension of the hour markers...
