With this reference 670030, the House of LIP once again makes a watch designed in partnership with a special force! After the GIGN version of 2018, the Grande-Nautic Ski BRI and a special livery for the Second Regiment of Hussars, the Bisontine brand had hit the ground running with its GIGN edition in 2021. In 2022, LIP struck again very hard, with a model designed in partnership with the Special Forces Land Command.

For this year 2023, LIP strikes again by reissuing the Nautic Fantôme with as a new exclusive partner for 2023: the BRI. A limited edition of 999 copies!

The LIP Nautic Ski Fantôme in detail

Aligning exceptional know-how and design this reliable, precise and solid timepiece was developed to equip the wrists of the members of the elite unit in real life situations. The choice fell on the Grande Nautic whose size allows a large dial opening in order to have an optimal readability. Its compressor case is inspired by the 1967 model, which makes the watch more waterproof when the pressure increases. To remain "FFOMECBLOT", an acronym that defines the rules of military camouflage, the 41mm case has been sandblasted and blackened to not reflect light.

Discretion is also the order of the day on the dial, with a matte titanium color, and a sapphire crystal that has undergone a special anti-reflective treatment to make the watch virtually invisible. The hands and indexes are coated with white Superluminova to facilitate reading in the dark. Finally, the signature bi-directional inner bezel of the Nautic Ski model is finished in black and white. As for the BIS Panther head crest, it is proudly positioned at 9 o'clock and has been printed on the dial with a special ink that makes it appear and disappear depending on the light, hence the "Ghost" appellation.

Time and date settings are made via the screw-down crown located at 4 o'clock, the crown positioned at 2 o'clock allows the inner bezel to be adjusted. These two crowns have been oversized to facilitate gripping with gloves. Finally, to reinforce its stealthy appearance, this Nautic-Fantôme is presented on a Milanese steel bracelet also made of matte black PVD. In the box, you will also find a second black rubber strap.

A Japanese Miyota 8215 automatic movement

You will have the pleasure of admiring the movement that drives this LIP through its transparent screwed case back. It is the Miyota 8215 caliber 3 hands date. Featuring 21 jewels, it oscillates at 21600 vibrations per hour and offers a power reserve of 40 hours.
