The "modern" history of Panerai began in 1993 with the release of the Luminor Marina in 40 and 44mm, for the first time accessible to all and not only to the military. The model presents the aesthetic codes of the historical models in this 47mm version with its cushion-shaped steel case. Indeed, it has the characteristic features of the Luminor, with the 1950s-style case and its rounded, cushion-shaped case middle, derived from the Radiomir case (case with thin horns).

A piece with historical details

This Panerai PAM 605 has other details that mark the fidelity of this model to some extremely rare historical examples: the thinner lugs, the engraving of the references between the lugs, the domed sapphire crystal and the transparent flat caseback on which the words "Officine Panerai" are engraved.

We also find one of the most identifiable codes for the Paneristis: the "sandwich" dial with oversized indexes and its immediate readability. The name of Florence, the city of origin of the Officine Panerai manufacture, is inscribed at 6 o'clock on the grey sunray dial exclusive to this model.

Equipped with the hand-wound Manufacture caliber P.3000, this movement is entirely created by the Panerai Manufacture and features the main characteristics of Panerai movements in terms of structure and robustness, precision and power reserve (72 hours).

This piece is in excellent, near new condition. The watch comes Full Set with its beautiful original strap, screwdriver and two other straps. This watch was released in 2016.
