A surprising collaboration

Powered by a shared passion for technical innovation and contemporary design, ZENITH, a leader in innovation in its field since 1865, and Fusalp, an iconic French ski and luxury ready-to-wear brand, have combined their historical expertise and innovative prowess to launch a unique capsule collection. The capsule, which coincides with the 70th anniversary of the Fusalp brand, features two bespoke watches and a sporty-chic contemporary wardrobe that perfectly embodies the spirit of innovation and penchant for assertive style shared by the Le Locle watchmaker and the Annecy tailor.

A DEFY Classic Skeleton like no other

With its versatile style and decidedly futuristic lines, the DEFY Classic Skeleton was chosen as the model for this collaboration. This sporty and chic unisex watch is ideally proportioned with its 41mm diameter black ceramic case.

ZENITH worked with Fusalp to develop this new openworked dial that combines the brands' two worlds, retaining the Manufacture's signature five-pointed star and incorporating a snowflake into its design. The result is a dial highlighted by a rose gold-colored openworked lower level and surrounded by a ring in the French tricolor tones of blue, red and white, a nod to the house's French origin.

A rubber strap designed by Fusalp

The rubber bracelet was also designed to incorporate elements inspired by the capsule collection of clothing designed by Fusalp exclusively for this collaboration. Indeed, the rubber here features a fabric-like structure, with a raised pattern of concentric rectangles offering a bold graphic element to match the openwork dial. This graphic is notably inspired by the quilted details of the clothing collection developed for this novel collaboration.

A Manufacture Elite 670 Sk caliber

The quintessential automatic movement, the Elite caliber designed and manufactured in-house has been part of the ZENITH universe for over 25 years. It is even the first caliber from the ZENITH manufacture to have benefited from computer-aided design! This movement with ultra-slim proportions and unmatched performance offers a 50-hour power reserve thanks to its automatic winding mechanism and can accommodate numerous complications.

The 670 Sk variant, introduced in 2018, is found on this reference. This version is remarkable, as it is fully skeletonized, and also includes a silicon escapement to be perfectly non-magnetic in addition to offering exceptional performance!
