BR 03-92 collection: a unique design

The BR 03-92 collection replicates the specifications required by the Air Force, with unique square cases in black ceramic or stainless steel that reference cockpit instruments. The BR 03-92 watches feature an automatic mechanical movement, a dial with applied metal indexes and numerals, and a non-reflective sapphire crystal. Functions include hours, minutes and seconds as well as a convenient date display, all with a photoluminescent coating for optimal visibility.

A true professional tool, the BR 03 meets the readability requirements of professional aviators: the matte black finish of the 42 mm case found on aircraft dashboards optimizes the reading of the dial by eliminating reflections. The sleek graphics, black dial color, large white numerals, hand shape and photoluminescent coating allow for immediate time reading by day and night.

Using the brand's distinctive typography, with enlarged hour markers along the outer dial, the BR-03-92 BLACK MATTE is incredibly legible. A high-tech ceramic case

In the aeronautical world, and particularly in space, ceramics occupies a place of choice in the manufacture of parts subjected to very high temperatures, acid attacks, corrosion and erosion. It is used in heat shields and the nose cone of aerospace rockets. It is also used in the medical world for its biocompatibility. Bell & Ross has reworked the ceramic to the point of developing a specific manufacturing process that enhances the intrinsic qualities of this remarkable material: the ceramic is scratchproof, colorfast and lighter.

Added to this is an intriguing three-part sandwich construction: The center case is attached by exposed screws, screwed in from above. By exposing these screws, Bell & Ross has captured the spirit of a cockpit instrument without succumbing to superfluity. The same thing happens on the back, where four additional screws are screwed into the corners to secure the case back. The angular and articulated lugs complete this muscular look!

An automatic caliber

This watch is powered by the BR-CAL-302 caliber, built from the Swiss Sellita SW-300-1 movement. This caliber is a genuine one, beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and offering 40 hours of power reserve.
