Featuring an automatic caliber with GMT function, wound by a 360° oscillating weight, this model reveals the beating heart of its movement through a sapphire crystal caseback. The dial of the BR 05 is adorned with a sunray finish and offers optimal legibility. Its black color contrasts with the large white Super-LumiNova®-coated numerals, indexes and hands. This color combination is rooted in the Bell & Ross DNA. It echoes the colors used for aircraft instruments. The cockpits are dominated by black, avoiding reflections, and white, guaranteeing an incomparable reading. Intended to inform the traveler with the greatest clarity and precision, its graphics are as rigorous as those of airport clocks. Echoing the principles of airport signage, the metal hour and minute hands are skeletonized. The GMT hand is distinguished here by its red arrow. The white, black and red colors - symbolic of Bell & Ross - ensure perfect legibility by day and night. While the white hands on the dial indicate the time at the location, the hand with the red arrow displays the time in the country of origin on the inner bezel with a 24-hour scale. This BR 05 GMT watch is powered by the automatic GMT BR-CAL.325 movement, built from a Sellita base. This caliber is highly decorated to be seen through the transparent case back. A 360-degree skeletonized winding rotor gives the watch technical sensitivity while providing a view of the finishes underneath. The movement is a true tractor, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offering a 40-hour power reserve.
