When it was released in 1996, the Tank Française metamorphosed the vocabulary of Tank watches. More sporty, it combined the codes of the Tank - railroad minute track, dial with Roman numerals, winding crown adorned with a cabochon sapphire - and took the bold step of placing a cambered case at the heart of a link bracelet. The watch became iconic with its curved case integrated into the bracelet. A change of aesthetic, which radicalizes the lines. It then resembles a piece of jewelry designed so that no break in line, volume or material interferes between the watch and the bracelet.

This Cartier reference 2303 that we are offering today is in perfect working condition. It features a nicely balanced white dial, which displays two chronograph counters as well as a date counter. It is topped by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Its 28 x 38 mm diameter steel case is meant to be ideal for both male and female wrists.

Of course, this Tank Française model retains all the essential elements one would expect from a Cartier: an octagonal crown adorned with a cabochon matching the blued steel of its hands, but also the famous secret signature present in one of its indexes.
