Bell & Ross BR 03-94 R.S.18 Renault Sport Edition Full Set 2021 42 mm

The brief

One look at this watch and you can tell that it has a racing theme! While the French brand is known to watch enthusiasts for its aviation and pilot watches, this BR03 is designed for drivers of a completely different kind. Indeed, since the 1960s, the chronograph has been synonymous with motorsport, whether worn in the dizzying chaos of the pit lane or at 300 km/h in a straight line. The brand therefore had to develop a chrono dedicated to motorsport drivers based on one of its iconic models.

Produced in partnership with the Renault Sport F1 team, the BR 03-94 R.S.18 is inspired by the chassis of the Renault R.S.18, the single-seater entered in the 2018 Formula 1 World Championship. It was driven by German Nico Hülkenberg and Spanish Carlos Sainz Jr.

Inspired by F1

With a 42 mm diameter case in hollowed-out and beaded titanium, this BR03-94 R.S.18 chronograph shows its sportiness at first glance, thanks in particular to its dial made of real carbon fiber, a material that is highly prized in the world of motor sports. The combination of titanium and carbon ensures lightness and resistance, robustness and performance. The subtly openworked auxiliary counters of the chronograph function reveal the workings of the movement. Powered by a Swiss automatic caliber BR-CAL.301, the BR03-94 R.S.18 also displays a tachymeter scale on its flange, allowing instantaneous calculation of the speed. The yellow keys for the chronograph functions is a tribute to Renault's favorite color.

For the first time on a BR03 model, the chronograph pushers have been designed as rockers in reference to the gear shift paddles of Formula 1 cars. They have been designed in red anodized aluminum, a subtle tribute to the iconic color of racing cars.

The package

This Bell & Ross limited to 999 pieces is in excellent condition, almost new. It will be delivered to you Full Set with its original case, its instructions for use and its original warranty card dated 2021. The box also includes a new nylon strap and the tool set to change the strap. This BR 03-94 R.S. 18 has been authenticated and serviced by our watchmakers and as such benefits from the Lepage Vintage 1 year warranty. The waterproofness has also been checked.
