The brief

Omega introduced the Speedmaster "Dark Side of the Moon" in 2013 at Baselword. This Speedmaster is a game-changer, as it is the first time a Speed is dressed in an all-ceramic case. Thus, the Manufacture revolutionizes its iconic model, while highlighting the mix of its technical and watchmaking prowess.

A unique style

This uniquely styled watch features a black ceramic dial, composed of zirconium oxide, which is distinguished by its sublime white gold "Moonwatch" style hands and two ceramic counters at 3 and 9 o'clock. A matte chrome nitride tachymeter scale, one of the most recognizable features of the Speedmaster line, stands out on the polished ceramic bezel, mounted on a 44.25 mm brushed and polished ceramic case. As a tribute to the Speedmaster's heritage and fascinating design, the words "Dark Side of the Moon" are engraved on the ceramic case back just above the sapphire crystal.

A Co-Axial calibre

This Speedmaster is powered by the Manufacture caliber 9300, a COSC-certified automatic column-wheel chronograph movement. This fully integrated chronograph caliber features a vertical clutch, a silicon balance spring and a 60-hour power reserve. The chronograph function is displayed via a superimposed counter at three o'clock that records both the chronograph hour and minute, while the opposite sub-dial at nine o'clock features a small seconds. A date window is located at six o'clock. This caliber also has a complication that allows you to set the hour hand independently of the minute hand with a jumping hour function.

This Speedmaster "Dark Side of the Moon" reference 311.92.44.51.01.003 is in excellent condition. Indeed, its manufacture entirely out of ceramic ensures an extreme resistance to the scratches! It will be delivered to you Full Set, with its case, its instructions for use and its warranty card dated December 2017. This model has been authenticated by our watchmakers and thus benefits from a one-year Lepage Vintage warranty. The case has been cleaned, and the strap changed. The movement has also been checked with a chronocomparator, and the precision is within the brand's tolerances.
