The little story

Disappeared from the radar since the 1980s, the mythical ZRC Grands Fonds 300 watch, presented in 1964 for the divers of the French Navy, has been making its comeback on the watchmaking scene since 2015. And for the first time, ZRC is reissuing a very special version, the Series 3!

The first glance at this Grands Fonds 300 watch will take you back in time. You will first discover an imposing 3mm domed sapphire crystal, housing a Serie 3 dial recognizable by its minute track on the black dial. It also features the same information on the dial at six o'clock as on the original model and its famous date at three o'clock. The fine hands and indexes also retain the classic SuperLuminova treatment. Finally, this model has an aluminum bezel insert for a vintage look and a steel bracelet with a diving extension.

Engine side

ZRC has chosen the Swiss-made automatic movement Sellita SW200-1 Elaborate to power this Reédition watch. This one offers you a power reserve of about 38 hours, for an amplitude of 0 to 14 seconds per day.

What you need to know

This ZRC Deep Sea 300 Series 3 watch has a vintage look to pay homage to one of the most iconic divers in history. To be as close as possible to the original, the steel case is now 38 mm and does not retain the ECS system to be a pure reissue of the 1960s. As always, the pressure resistance has been tested to 1000 meters to ensure water resistance to 300 meters. An instrument that has already proven itself and will be ready to accompany you in all your daily adventures!
