Its black case expresses the darkness and silence of the ocean at night, while the orange color is inspired by the lights that illuminate it.

Modern reinterpretation of the 1965 Diver's

This Prospex watch reference SPB255J1 is the modern reinterpretation of one of the most iconic watches of the Japanese brand! A contemporary version of the original model released in 1968, it was at its time a revolutionary watch with a water resistance to 300 m and a Hi-Beat 36000 automatic movement, a world first at the time!

While retaining the sharp design of the original model, it offers comfort and fit on the wrist by adopting a narrower case size of 42 mm. The matte black dial and bezel are punctuated with orange accents that capture the play of light shining under the night sea. The indexes and hands are coated with Lumibrite to ensure optimal legibility in the darkest conditions and are topped with a flat anti-reflective sapphire crystal.

The watch comes with a fabric strap that incorporates a traditional Japanese weaving technique called Seichu. Its strength and resistance to degradation caused by exposure to the sun meet the highest standards of Seiko Prospex dive watches. An additional black silicone strap is also included in the box.

This is one of the Japanese firm's essential movements, which is used in most of the brand's top-of-the-line watches.
