The brand's iconic collection

Born in 1999, the Highlife collection has marked the history of the Geneva-based company Frederique Constant. Since its launch, it has embodied the values that have contributed to the brand's success: a faithful design inspired by fine Swiss watchmaking, a high degree of finishing and a particular care to offer the right price for affordable luxury.

A seventies design with a Heart Beat dial

The Highlife Heart Beat is part of a long line of sporty-chic watches with a very seventies design, with its seductive, curved lines! Its 40 mm steel case alternates between polished and satin-finished surfaces and its design without lugs means that the strap falls smoothly and naturally on the wrist. A special feature of the Highlife collection is that the strap is interchangeable, and can be alternated with other straps without the need for any tools.

Its matt white dial opens to reveal the beating of its balance. In the centre of the dial is the guilloche motif of the Earth, the aesthetic signature of the Highlife collection. The whole is of course protected by a curved sapphire crystal. Its design makes it easy to read the time thanks to the iron track and the applied baton hour markers filled with Luminova, overlaid by two silvered hands and the second hand.

Technical side

The Manufacture has a real expertise in open heart watches. Indeed, the first Frédérique Constant Heart Beat watch was created in 1994. Since then, its original design has been frequently copied, but it is never as pure and authentic as in a genuine Frédérique Constant watch. This is what the Highlife Heart Beat offers today: a tribute to the founding spirit of the House, the rediscovery of a design that is in turn in line with the brand's classics.

This timepiece is equipped with the FC-310 calibre with automatic winding. Beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, it offers a comfortable power reserve of 38 hours and, above all, an attractive finish. Visible through its transparent caseback, the timepiece exposes its mechanical intimacy and the finishes dear to the Geneva manufacture, such as the Côtes de Genève and circular-graining, without limit.
