Since its creation in 1988, the Frédérique Constant brand has pursued a simple objective: to create quality Swiss watches at an affordable price and democratize Swiss Made luxury watchmaking. To achieve this, it offers watches with pure lines and meticulous finishing, all powered by reliable and high-performance Swiss calibers. For this year 2022, the Geneva Manufacture goes back to the aesthetic roots of its flagship line, offering two new models with the "Heart Beat" complication.

Original and timeless aesthetic codes

For this new model, the brand goes back to the roots of classicism that has defined timeless aesthetic canons over the centuries. These include a guilloche dial, Breguet-style hands and delicate Roman numeral markers. The latter are back in the Classics Index Automatic line.

The FC-310MCK5B6 features a 40mm steel case, worn on a black calf leather strap with an alligator finish. Its khaki green dial is flanked by three hands indicating the hours with the help of 12 indexes spread over a circular satin-finished hour circle: a prestigious, timeless composition of definite elegance. The whole is of course protected by a domed sapphire crystal.

Technical side

The Manufacture has a real expertise in open heart watches. Indeed, the first Heart Beat watch from Frédérique Constant was created in 1994. Since then, its original design has been frequently copied, but it is never as pure and authentic as in a real Frédérique Constant watch. This is what the Classics Heart Beat Automatic offers today: a tribute to the founding spirit of the House, the rediscovery of a design that is in turn in line with the brand's classics.

This Classics Heart Beat Automatic is equipped with the FC-310 self-winding caliber. Beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, it offers a comfortable power reserve of 38 hours, but above all a beautiful finish. Visible through its transparent caseback, the watch displays without limit its mechanical intimacy and the finishes dear to the Geneva manufacture, such as the Côtes de Genève and circular graining.
