While it preserves the fundamental principles of Grand Seiko style, the design philosophy that has guided Grand Seiko since 1967, but adapts them for the new generation by setting new standards in legibility, aesthetics and comfort, while taking its already impressive designs and technology to new levels. Le boîtier et le bracelet sont entièrement réalisés en titane haute intensité faisant de ce modèle une montre incroyablement confortable et légère. Mesurant 41 mm de diamètre, pour 13,9 mm d'épaisseur, le boîtier a magnifiquement été sculpté et présente de délicates surfaces polies et satinée offrant des points de contraste. A Spring Drive calibre with exceptional precision

Inside this GMT Evolution 9, we find the calibre 9R66, a classic from the Manufacture. Its precision is rated at +/-15 seconds per month and offers a comfortable 72-hour power reserve. Like all Spring Drive watches, the seconds hand moves in a perfect gliding movement, a unique Spring Drive feature. Visible through a transparent case back, the calibre 9R66 is considered by watch enthusiasts to be a true GMT movement. Indeed, the local hour hand is independently adjustable. The advantage of this complication is that when arriving at a new location in a different time zone, the hour hand can be moved forward or backward to the appropriate time without any difficulty.
