Reissue "Marine Nationale" 1964: The French Navy watch
In the early 1960s, ZRC, a manufacturer of reliable and robust spare parts, began designing a wristwatch for divers: the Grands Fonds 300, which was chosen by the French Navy to equip its divers between 1964 and 1982. Since 2015, ZRC has relaunched this iconic watch to the forefront of the watchmaking scene.
1964 Spirit: Revival of a mythical diver
The year 1964 is essential for ZRC, as it marks the approval of their Grands Fonds 300 watch by the French Navy. A tribute is paid to this mythical diver through this collection in deliberately retro tones: the 1964 Spirit.
GF 3000 Titanium : Extreme Diver
After the success of the Grands Fonds 300, ZRC had to develop a new case. Benefiting from all the brand's know-how, the Grands Fonds 3000 strikes hard! Grade II titanium case, ceramic bezel insert, curved 5mm sapphire crystal, armoured 4mm 316L steel caseback, rubber strap, single titanium buckle, nothing has been left to chance. The first watch to be resistant to a depth of 5,000 metres without the presence of a helium valve, the Grands Fonds 3000 represents the efficiency and simplicity so dear to the French brand. With a total thickness of 19.5mm, this "very deep" waterproof watch remains portable in all circumstances.
