When it came out in 1996, the Tank Française transformed the vocabulary of Tank watches. More sporty, it combined the codes of the Tank watches - railway minute track, dial with Roman numerals, winding crown adorned with a cabochon sapphire - and took the bold step of placing a curved case at the heart of a bracelet of links. The watch becomes iconic with its curved case integrated into the bracelet. A change of aesthetic, which radicalises the lines.
