The bases

This Chopard Mille Miglia 2016 edition of 1000 pieces is a true classic. Indeed, it is one of the first to have received the manufacture chronograph calibre. The strength of the design and technical qualities combine to make this watch a collector's item. This Mille Miglia XL Race Edition, which bears the number 130, is distinguished by its generous 46 mm steel case housing a dial inspired by the codes of the cars that took part in the historic race between 1927 and 1940. The ultimate reference to the world of classic motor racing, this performance watch is adorned with a patinated Suportlo calfskin strap, whose water resistance and unalterable suppleness evoke the leather straps used to hold the bonnets of racing cars.

What you need to know

This watch is water-resistant to 50 metres. Its case is equipped with a bezel fitted with a tachometer, a screw-down crown and large chronograph pushers. The 130/1000 inscription on the case back is inspired by the race numbers of the participating cars. As for the engine, this Chopard is not to be outdone. It is equipped with an automatic chronograph movement, beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, visible through the transparent case back. Certified chronometer by the COSC, it has a power reserve of 60 hours and offers the hour, minute, date, small seconds and chronograph functions with central second hand, 30-minute counter and 12-hour counter. And the little extra of this calibre, the Flyback function, always very appreciable for restarting a time between two bends!

The package

This Chopard watch is in NOS condition, still has some stickers and works perfectly. Unfortunately, the case and the papers have been lost. However, it is covered by the Lepage Vintage warranty for one year.
