A short history

Inspired by the new design of the Carrera chronographs, Tag Heuer applies this design to the 3-hand versions. Launched in 1963, the Carrera is one of the first iconic lines designed by Jack Heuer. Over time, this collection has become iconic. Truly sporty-chic, it meets the founder's obsession with legibility in every respect.

Elegant and functional, the new Carrera Day-Date is an everyday classic. Its new 41 mm steel case is timeless and luxurious. It has refined lugs for better ergonomics, and its brushed finish gives it a sporty and stylish look.
A fixed bezel in polished stainless steel is fixed above its domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides.

This reference WBN2012.FC6502 has a superb sunray dial - blue satin. Tag Heuer revisits its prestigious heritage by offering new, more refined indexes that are closer to the origins of the Carrera collection. Finished in rhodium just like the hands, they reflect more light and are coated with Super-Luminova to ensure better legibility. A finely framed Day-Date window appears at three o'clock.
An important detail is the blue alligator leather strap with a folding clasp that reinforces its sporty character.

Demonstrating all the know-how of the Swiss House, this automatic movement offers incomparable precision, ensured by its high operating frequency (28,800 vibrations per hour). With a power reserve of about forty hours, it is known to enthusiasts as being very robust. Visible through a transparent sapphire caseback, it stands out thanks to its "Côte de Genève" decorated oscillating weight.
