Seamaster PlanetOcean 600 m Co-Axial 41 mm
Since 2005, the Planet Ocean collection has paid tribute to Omega's marine heritage, borrowing its style and features from divers of the past, while combining them with innovative design and advanced materials. Technical, the basic models can dive to a depth of 600 meters, and the 2022 Ultra Deep even pushes the limits of this collection, resisting to a depth of 6000 meters! Planet Ocean models are available in 37.5, 39.5, 43.5 mm and 45.5 mm versions and are available in stainless steel, 18K gold, titanium, ceramic and even in O-Megasteel steel, an exclusive alloy of the brand! In both men's and women's versions, there is a wide choice of styles, offered in a range of straps: rubber, NATO, metal or leather.
Planet Ocean 600M : the ultra technical diver
Following the launch of the Diver 300M, the Seamaster was swept up in a whirlwind of creativity. The early 2000s saw the introduction of several new models that are now considered modern classics. This is notably the case with the very first Seamaster Planet Ocean, revealed in 2005. While it too took on many of the codes of the Seamaster 300, it was distinguished from the other models in the collection - and indeed from all other watches in the world - by a signature feature: the Co-Axial escapement. This ingenious device, the work of British watchmaker George Daniels, made its first appearance in the Planet Ocean 2500 caliber and catapulted Omega to new heights of precision and performance.
