A French History

Development began in 1957, and was first offered in the spring of 1967 for the brand's centenary. It was truly launched in 1968 for the 1968 Grenoble Winter Olympics. The Nautic-Ski also owes its name to Muriel, the daughter of Fred LIP. As a tribute to the passion of his daughter who was a member of the French women's downhill ski team from 1950 to 1956, Fred LIP added the designation "ski". An ideal combination of his father's passion for watchmaking and his daughter's love for skiing. But the Nautic-Ski designation also takes on its full meaning and positions the watch as much in the underwater world as in the alpine world and nautical sessions.

A reissue close to the original

The Nautic-Ski has been reissued since 2014 and respects the authenticity and vintage lines of the original model. It thus retains all the fundamental design elements of the original Nautic-Ski, namely its rotating internal bezel, its domed glass as well as its two crowns.
