On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the most iconic diving watch in the world, Rolex presents in 2003 the Submariner 16610LV, which will be produced only over a period of 5 years. "LV", two letters present at the end of the reference meaning "Green Bezel". Receiving mixed reactions from fans for this unorthodox color choice, it is now considered a collector's item precisely because of this unusual color. Indeed, until the release of the "Kermit", nickname given by the aficionados of the brand to this model, all Rolex sports watches had a black bezel. This will give a special aura to this anniversary Submariner which is very popular with collectors. Technically identical to the Submariner Ref. 16610, which has already been in production for several years and is considered the best and most popular Submariner in modern history, this new reference 16610LV is not just about its green bezel. Indeed, the Rolex Submariner 16610LV features the new "Maxi Dial" with larger indexes and hands inspired by the Yacht-Master released in 1991.

The model we are pleased to offer is one of the very first versions produced by the brand and one of the most sought after models by collectors. Its matte Oyster bracelet Ref. 93250 with armored links, is in good condition, but has slight scratches. Its folding clasp has its date code AD8, corresponding to a production in August 2003. The case of this exceptional Rolex Submariner has never been polished. It is powered by the robust Manufacture caliber 3135 and its case back is stamped "2160".
