For the record

In their natural state, when they are uncut, diamonds do not sparkle. It is only when they are cut that they sparkle and reveal all their brilliance. The facets or 'mirrors' created during the cutting process allow light rays to be reflected, giving life to a marvellous play of light and colour. All these colours, which appear with the slightest movement of the stone, are called "fire" and correspond to the dispersion of light. The diamond creates a prism, and when light emerges through one of its bevelled facets it is divided into different colours of the light spectrum ranging from red to violet, giving life to magnificent rainbow reflections.

The claw setting firmly holds the central stone in place, allowing a maximum amount of light to pass through and reflect off it, creating a magnificent sparkle. Chosen one by one by our gemologists, the three diamonds that adorn this creation are stones of incredible purity. Once selected, the stones are finely set by our jewellers with their incomparable craftsmanship and traditional skills.
